I take it you are refering to the 2000pole.I also talked to suzuki today,taked to someone by the name of Damen Riddle he said not aware of a problem.But would arange an inspection to check my updated tensioner.Kind of funny thats the sane name as the guy that was mennioned who did know about a failure in the 2000 pole.

I know this is old news. On the recall notice that I received they have a phone number to the National Highway Administration.I called there this morning now they told me that being I did not have the failure on the recalled tensioner I could not file A compliant. So has anybody called that has had A repeat failure.The phone number is 800 424 9393. I really would like to ride this bike with A piece of mind.

For piece of mind just install a manual tensioner, or have your mechanic do it for you.
