Cam Tensioner Poll...

800mi on 2000. no problems yet. Assuming with my luck it will soon blow up.

What could happen if this thing gives at lets say 140mph or more. Or is it most likley just to show up. Is there always the warning signs or could it just go bye bye anytime.

2000 MODEL 1200 MILES NO PROBLEMS,NO NOISES, NO NOTHING, PURRS LIKE A KITTIN. YOU BOYS BREAK YOUR MOTOR IN RIGHT? OR ARE YOU HAMMER'N THE SHITE OUT IT FROM THE GET GO?

jimjib - dude, what else is the Gov't good for? Geeze, wake up and use them when you can! This is something that they are actually good for!

99 copper/silver exploded after recall done, just got 2000 blue/silver installed ape manual, screw the warranty I want a bike that runs.

My bike is noisy, I have over 2400 ('00). If being noisy means it's a problem. Then I'll vote on having a problem.

I broke my bike strictly as suggested by the manual.

I don't agree - different issue. With the gov't, the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. These guys will hunt down a company, Suzuki in this case, if they are putting out a product that with such a serious flaw like the tensioner. I think they can help a lot.

'99 Busa had the cam tensioner replaced under the recall. 8800 miles with no problems so far.

Factory, don't you get it...these are the guys that are chomping at the bit to take your lovely busa away from you...STAY AWAY FROM THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE!
