Here is my problem,
I have km/h faceplates I want to make myself a MPH faceplate unsing autocad.

Could someone take a picture of their faceplate (180 MPH) with a measuring tape next to it so I can scale the picture. (My bike is in my parents garage in Canada and they won't understand what I want)
I found some pics of faceplates on the net but they weren't perfect circle, more like ovale.

Thank a million.

uhh...not too sure what exactly you plan on doing, but I can try to take some pics over the weekend.

if I have a pic of a 180MPH faceplate with a measuring tape next to it.
I could bring that picture into autocad, scale it to its actual size and then create my own design for the face plate.

I would also share that drawing to anyone who wants to use it create its own.

Thanks pacificbusa.

I ran across a site a month or so ago that had full size gauge faces a guy made.... search on google for it. It was a personal busa site.

you could just save those and edit them

c'mon, too busy for a busa rider?
it's ok
but I would really appreciate
I need it before may 15
the day I going back to Canada to bring back to busa over here.
I need to import the bike, get it thru the costums and the DMV inspection

Ok...I have the 220 gauges, but my friend has the 180 one. Lemme see if I can get a pic from him. I'll get to you as soon as I have some stuff.

Just saw your post, so it's too late to do tonight. I think it will be a tough pic to take because of the size of the dash and no place to hang the measuring tape. Tried to put a small, plastic ruler against it and couldn't get it to stay.

anyone else wants to help

Don't know how I missed this thread. I'm on it now though. I'll see what I can do this evening after work. Don't have time left on my lunch break to set it all up. Look for pics to be posted this evening late unless something comes up.

I made this shot this evening but I didn't realize until I came to post it that you wanted the tape measure beside the face instead of over it. I'll try and find a roll up tape measure tomorrow and make a shot of the tape alongside the guage face. Can't get this 18" metal rule to fit beside it flat. Sorry for the mix up, but here's the one I've got now if it's worth anything to ya. Prolly not...

Let me see if I still have the old gauge face set I pulled off of a 01 set. If I still have them in the trash box, they are yours to rape all you want.
