Can I Bypass Bad Gear Position Switch With A Tre?

Mine is a gen 1, I don't have a gear indicator, I've never needed a vehicle to tell me what gear I'm in, I find it hard enough staying upright as it is, without being distracted by dash lights lol.

Cool hope it works good for ya.As long as your gear indicator shows 6th all the the time it should be good to go.Might want to wrap it in a little electrical tape if you didn't just in case.On the b king it idles a little lower in neutral until you pull in the clutch Don't know if its the same with the busa but if yours is cold blooded might want to hold it in for a minute till its warmed up.So far mine's been doing great.Picks up the front end just on the throttle now.
Smoother acceleration but haven't noticed more power, maybe need to twist that thing on the right harder.

Hello everybody. I have a question about the bypass GPS.

it´s possible to do without the TRE? My GPS is failure and the dealer asked for a period of 120 days to deliver it to me.

I´m from Brazil. A founded used GPS, but dont worth.

What it wrong with your bike as a result?

Gear indicator issue. Dont show the right gear. Sometimes the F1 flash. Then I have tô turn off/on a couple times and the F1 desapears.

I disconect the GPS and the bike turn on Just normal

I have a track day next weekend. I was thinking to put a 15k (6th gear) or a 6,8k (5th) resistor to simulate just one gear, so I can ride without trouble.
