hey Jeeps
You can run a wet systom if you want,,either are ok and both have their ups and downs,,,but after research on line and from schnitz[the owner and his son ryan] the new dry shot put out the same as the wet,,,the wet is a direct hit, where the dry takes about 1 1/2 secounds to fully kick in,,its easier on the drive train, cush dampeners, chain, sprockets ect, ect,, but,put on yours what you want,,,,I wasleary to about getting a good hit or if it would pass thru the filter and the equal distribution to each cylinder,,,ryan explained it to me,how they do it,,,,by drilling your nozzle hole in the front of the airbox, directly inbetween the ram air inlets, you waste nothing,,at WOT and ram air ,your throttlebodies wide open are sucking that airbox dry,,,and as for ditribution,,when you take you airbox off the bike,,take a close look at the inside configuration,,,its a 2 level box,,,meaning where the air is forced in at the ram air inlets[ where you nozzle is,,,is downstairs on the lower level of tha airbox,,then the air has to travel up thru the square hole in the middle[flapper] to get to the upper floor and then passs thru the air filter then its sucked into the throttle bodies,,,,,your Nos will be even by then,,,,,nice choice,,,,some guys thinks its a waste to have a 1/4 steel braided line comeing from the solonoid to the airbox and use a tiny plastic line the size of a pencil lead,,,I think [ in my case,],that has alot to do with why Im getting such a hard hit when I hit my NOS ,plus it has a nicely tuned map in it to acomindate the NOS.....although the steel braided line looks sweet,,I still used the blsck loom to cover it so it wouldnt rub any wires or hoses along the way,,,,,,but like I said earlier,,,I like both systoms,,,,,,But I opted for the dry, for 2 reasons,,,[1] it was half the price without sacrificeing performance,,,,and [2] I would be breaking up stuff as fast,,,,,,,,ps..I live in the NM area and if you know anyone looking for NOS fills, I have plenty on hand.I do my own refills
