if your gonna get it fixed do the fairings and keep the olds as spares for just in case or sell them on ebay to put towards your exhause but don't use it directly for exhaust yeah you can but kinda shiddy tho

Yeah that was my thought as well that it would be kinda wrong to do that. Your right I am just gonna do the right thing and get the farings fixed. Sell the old since they really aren't that bad. Thanks for the suggestions, see that is what I needed some feedback.

Not to get off topic but I recommend everyone to get some type of perimeter sensor. This happens everyday and most arnt as lucky as efiguero. For exsample I had a 07 GSXR 1k for maybe a month and while I was in work some kid thought he would show off and get on it I saw him go to swing a leg over and before I could get outside it had already been droped on the ground. The kid was 14 and the police would not do anything because it was on private property. I get my busa this week and the first thing on it will be a alarm for sure. Good luck to you efiguero Oh and FYI I just took a touch up pen to the GSXR and and black perm marker lol and you could not tell some of the cracks where there.

i had my neibhors daughter come over to me on my porch the other day and say some kid was sitting on you bike pretending to rev it and i live in a rough apartment complex so he should know the importance of not touching other people rides cause the kids like 15 or 16 so i'de get nailed if i took him off and beat the **** out of him

SO according to the dealer, the cost to repair is $1098.00. This is replacing the two farings front and right side, and labor. Just thought I would let you all know. Sent a copy over to the guy, awaiting his response.
