Carbon Fiber

Does anyone know of a company in the UK that can supply the carbon fibre dash infill panels that run down the top of the fairings to the tank? i've looked everywhere but can't find any listings.

Cheers Mark

Hey - check this site out http://www.moto-works.jp/bikes/gsx1300r.html
This is where you can find your dash panels. These are the ones I just bought yesterday. I know its only photographs but this is the best looking site I've found for Carbon. You can web surf till you drop but because you can't visually inspect the product before you buy you're flying blind.

How bout some C/F inners,Gary? Hopefully they'll fit with min adjusting and priced cheaper than Opp, yo yo, and M/R.

I made carbon inners, one person bought them. They are a PITA to make.

now that I am awake. MR, A tech, Qb carbon...all good...all expensive.

Ebay: this is carbon/fiberglass parts. They are thicker and cheaper but often don't fit well, warped and weight more.

if you see a statement like this

3K Plain Carbon Fiber, Fiber Glass, Polyester Resin. Vacuum bagging process (not heavy, wet layering)

that is not truly a 100% carbon fiber part.

The guy on ebay has had a bunch of names and tons of bad feedback (hence the multiple names). I would avoid him like the plague (name ecarbonunlimited)

A tech and Magical Racing are both japanese. They make some of the highest quality. I don't know of any british companies that offer CF for the hayabusa.

I wanted the air ducts that OPP carries. But they dont do the Busa set. Neat design, the smooth part is on the inside to reduce air velocity loss. Or something like that.

Suzuki4life,
Thanks for the tip on eCarbonunlimited but I was too late. That is why i started this thread. I order from them and the part did even come close to fitting properly - very warp too! Sent it back.
I did see the carbon air ducts once but now i can't find them and I believe the design purpose was air flow efficiency gain 1-5hp.

Ecarbonwhatever screwed my buddy out of a cf hood...long story...but multiple names and I have bought fenders from them

I got them as promised....they fit...ahhhh okay...but I couldn't buy a rashed oem fender at that time for what I bought their "carbon fiber" ones for.

powerbronze mate..£100

there was an ebay auction awhile back selling inners they claimed from powerbronze, it also stated the same "contains fiberglass" as the other stuff on ebay...hence why they sell so cheap.

cheers busaboy.

I got mine from Catalyst when they were doing it all. The front fender is from Coerce Racing and the screen is Magical Racing

+1 for Magical Racing! I just received my parts today (dash panels, frame covers and chain guard) and these parts are some of the best looking carbon pieces I've seen so far for bikes. I would put these guys against VIS or Seibon any day; those are carbon companies for import cars for those who didn't know. Craftmenship and fit is awesome - very clean! I'm going to buy the rest of their product line for sure!
