Is it hard to put on ?/ does it take away from the Bikes looks ??. Do you have to take out that lower cool looking wing type thingy under the Bike. responces helpful
If you get the center stand you have to remove the rear spoiler that is directly under the pipe, and nearest the rear tire. Dirty pete a "pit bull" is a rear stand or a front stand and they have several models. Pit bull is the brand name.

I just installed the centrestand last weekend. Took 5 hours. Remove exhaust system, rad and oil cooler assembly install stand and refill fluids. Now easy to lube chain and clean wheel. I have a race stand ( not a pitbull) and find it a pain to use. You do lose the little thingy on the bottom but the resulting convenience and firm stablility it offers makes it worthwhile.
Dirty P go to Home page and look @ manuf listing"s for pit bull. the bike will not slide on their rear stand with spools. I have the front and rear stand. the front goes in the bottom of the triple clamp.
ANGUISH: Looks like we might not get a ride out of Guelph this season.
You're welcome to drop by my place on any weekend, or on any weekday after 3 P.M. and have a beer on my beach. It's one hour from your place at Busa speed. 445 Lakeshore Drive in Port Perry. You can catch a Muskie off my dock if you're lucky that day.
Yes center stands do make things easier but on my zx11 i kept worrying that at high speeds it would come down somehow and cause me to have an accident. If you live by yourself a rear stand is very difficult to put in place by your self. But if you have someone to assist you then a rear stand is a snap to use. Besides I dont want the added weight or have to remove my lower rear spoiler. Without the rear spoiler you lose 2 to 3 miles per hour on top end.
Pete, that's pretty cool of you. I only know maybe one person in Toronto, but I may have reason to go to Buffalo at some point. My brother is the fisherman in the family, but I am a friend of beer. 'Preciate it!
Not only do you lose the rear spoiler, but you lose cornering clearance too. The stand comes with peg feelers that are about an inch longer on each side, undoubtedly because Suzuki wants the feelers to touch down before the center stand. There's already not enough clearance with the stock feelers.
A easy way to put bike on rearstand. Put two eye hooks in garage ceiling, use two short chokers or canyon strap. Take two tie downs and attach to eyes on ceiling, from their to your chokers or canyon strap. That will hold bike up, so you can put it on the stand.

One point on the center stand. At the tracks I ride on you are not allowed to have a center stand on your bike at all, and you must remove or wire up your side stand.
Given the amount of work it takes to re & re the center stand, putting it on pretty much lets you out of track days and racing.
MR BEAR, the way to the Pit Bull site and many other good ones from the Home Page is to click on LINKS.
I own a pit bull stand and had used it on my 89GSXR-1100,98 TL1000R and my Hayabusa and I think it is the best jack stand ever made.I got the front stand and the back stand. It is well made and I tell ever one that I meet about the Pitbull's stands,I even e-mailed the owners of the company and also when ever their down at Laguna Seca for the Big races I make sure I stop by their setup tent and tell them again.I do not get any freebies from these guys but I know a good product when I see one. Thanks Pitbull
You guys useing the pit bull front stand are you useing the underfork stand or the one with the pin for the sterring stem. How easy are these to use, can you use them alone.
Does the stand get in the way of the caliper mounting bolts?
