I'm a donor. It isn't something I thought about alot back when I first got my license...till a life altering event occured and a member of my family required a transplant. In 2000, my Duaghter was diagnosed with a severe heart condition, that required a transplant. If it wasn't for the selfless act of the Donor, and his parents, she would never have lived past 1 year old. They gave her another shot at life, and more time with her family. Not a day goes by, that I don't thank the Lord for their generosity, in the face of such a tragic loss. And nothing I ever do or say could possibly express the level of gratitude I have for them.

Vman1300- I know nothing can take away the loss for you, or for Chad's parents. Hopefully, this letter makes it a little easier for you all. My prayers go out to you...and my Gratitude......

Thanks all. From talking to the family, the names will be made available of the recipients in 6 months. There are quite a few of the So Fast, So Clean race team that are planning on making a trip to Nashville to meet these people that Chad has given a 2nd chance at a normal life.
