i was looking at mine and i really need to pop off the front cover and soak da #$#$ out of it and clean it...i usually buy off road diesel and put it in a spray bottle (no tax and 3 something a gallon) but i need to change the spray...need to get something that dont sling so dang bad ...

Kerosene on a shop towel, I use the blue Teflon can. I clean mine when ever it needs it, regardless of the mileage.
