Great discussion you guys.....I think it should be mentioned (not for you guys but for other readers)that first...if one inspects, maintains and replaces top of the line chain/sprockets regularly(including doing your own riveting), this hazard is significantly minimized and second.....countershaft region protection is exponentionally important when HP exceeds 190 and dragracing type starts are frequent.
