What do you all think of replaceing the factory chain on the Busa? Got about 3500 miles on the chain now, and although I don't "Drag Race" , my engine does seem to be breaking in...stretch aint been bad , but I don't wanna toss it at an inopertune moment...what is the "Best" chian out their? How many you guys running stock chains, say, at the track?

Been running a did 530zvm with rivet link for about 2500 miles with a vortex sprocket. Works great, very little chain adjustment. I have heard that the tsubaki sigma is a better chain though. I just like the gold color.

Your stock chain (kept clean & oiled) should last quite a few miles. If it's not stretching, and appears to be in good condition, why replace it?

I replaced mine for one reason: rotating mass & weight....oops thats two reasons :)

...mostly for "safty"...haven't heard of a sprocket failur but have heard of a coulpe of chian failurs on this site that did not sound like they occured due to moron operators... I just don't want a faluir to occure while out on the road at the worst possible moment, as seems to be the tendency with such things...thanks for the tip on mass and weight though, hadn't thought to look there to lose mass...unsprung too!
