changing out the Rear tire

Just wondering how many guys just change the Rear tire... I am going with Pilot power 2CT for my rear and I have a Metzeler M1 sporttec on the front, but its in good shape

Am I good to go?? or do I really need to match these tires

I've had to run a mix set before. There isn't a problem with doing so. The problems arise when you are trying to push the bike to its limits through the corners. The lean angles could be different, as could the profiles. This could slightly mess with the geometry of the bike.

You're good to go.

I have the battleax on front and a Qualifier on the rear for last 4000 miles.
