hey guys, looking into getting a chatterbox. just wondering if anyone has ever used them or if they know anything better for bike to bike com.

You might want to do a search on this one, because there are several threads about Chatterbox and autocomm, etc. Someone on the board recently posted that Chaterbox is supposed to be coming out with Blue tooth, where the unit isn't attached to your head anymore. Like I said, there are a lot of topics and opinions about this... I'll check back later, I used Chatterbox units for about 7 years before switching to autocomm.

I like mine only use it when i ride with a friend of mine about 5 or 6 times a year .No problems with it so far you can hook mp3 ,cell, the vox does not work that well its easier to use the push to talk button. But as far as range and communication I love it works good at the gap. He is a little more aggressive rider then me so when he is in front he can tell me to watch out for that mack truck coming my way.. All and All it was worth it have not tried any other so cannot compare

the blue tooth unit is gona be pimp as hell.

Just give it a couple of months to come out.

Have it and use it every group ride, work great, you need to use the push to talk button for speeds over 60 to really work right.

gmrs is the unit to get if going with the chatterbox IMO. Haven't seen or heard about the bluetooth. If it's anything like the bluetooh they guys are using on their cell phones I'd run far and fast. Haven't had a non muttled conversation on one yet.
