i was looking at that one but it doesnt seem to use the same communication protocol the X1 does. meaning, it uses some other way to communicate with other riders instead of the channel setup the X1 has.

XBi communicates on a single proprietary channel which only communicates other XBi's onless you got a motorola and get on its same freq range, u wont talk to it...its a bike to bike...as long as its 2 same modules....so really a bike to passenger module..

There is also a NON Bluetooth one for $150 X1 in LA...but id pay the extra for the Buetooth since u got the Iphone,...good by earbuds

Anyone use the Scala Rider? C-box has lousy distance and everytime I see someone with one, they are screwing with it to make it work.

i currently have the scala rider.... not impressed. BT is loud enough but nothing else...

I have the scala rider too, broke shortly after the warranty expired. Worked great before it's demise bluetooth performance was great for the phone. Music from the wire connection from the I pod not great but audible an good enough to keep it on the lid. Bike to bike never used even with a passenger no comment. Unit is water resistant may be why it crapped out I get in some really bad rain storms here.

my C box is good now, i got it wired to the bike moded it..and got some nice BOSE acoustimass speakers....Rolling audiophile lid One good thing about C Box is it is loud! Specially with the BT and its Crystal Clear
