Check out this thread!

WOW! Interesting read, well not really but entertaining,, a little

any chance it's Jack McCoy :poke:

POWERHOUSE has done MANY RCC turbo kits in the 8+ years we have been associated with Richard. We have NEVER seen any one of his kits make such low horsepower. The comment that this idiot has replaced your standard dual-port Tial wastegate with an "adjustable one" tells me that he probably does not even have your kit on his bike. IF he really does have a problem, it is with the install and/or the tune. His issue is with the person that sold him the bike, not with RCC. Typically, warranties do not transfer with ownership anyway.

At any rate, this guy has a nut loose behind the wheel. IMHO, I would not take his calls or respond to his emails anymore. He sounds like a real POS to me . . .:poke:

That guy does not have people skills what so ever. It would be one thing to ask nicely for help, but demand for help all disrespectful for something he didn't buy is just crazy. RCC should have just ignored him, that guy is an idiot.

Richard, have you even seen pics of this turbo kit? I wonder if it is even really yours? This knucklehead might have only been told it is a RCC kit when in reality it may not be.

It is one of our kits, he gave us the original owners name and we looked up when we shipped the kit, it was Feb of 09, to Lincoln Nebraska.

Richard

wow. like some have said...let it die. Tell him to stop harassing you.

He is even asking you to say it "might" or "may" be a problem with your kit. The guy is wacked out.

Why does this guy sound like the Yut Ugh guy?

tough one, I know how much u back ur product, tough for a win win on this, maybe tell him he needs to find out where the problem lies for a replacement part, and he will have to send you the part for your inspection to see if it is a manufacturer defect under your 2 year warranty, like a cracked header or a bad turbine, I would try to get a hold of the original seller, this guy might have gotten a deal on a lemon, bacause of a bad engine build.

The info on the original buyer may be correct but it still does not mean it it your kit. He has contradicted himself in the e-mails. I would ask for a pic to begin with. Anyone wanting to sell a used turbo kit will get better offers having said it is a RCC kit vs saying its a ebay turbo. I still would bet its not even yours.

Regardless if it really is Richards turbo, this guy bought a USED bike. Who knows what abuse the original owner did to it or what the current owner has done to it while in their ownership.

There is no need to do anything else. That's like selling you selling your busa to someone. Then 2 years later someone that bought it off him calls you up saying the mods you did to the bike sucks and wants you to fix it. Who know's what that bike has been through. For all we know they guy could have changed the turbo out or other parts. To many variables to say he has to fix it. That's just stupidity to be disrespectful when it's not Richards problem since he is not the orginal buyer.

The service from RCC on emails and phone calls is within a few hours response time all things considered (night time / early morning messages)...it is hard to believe that an honest situation couldn't be resolved. At some point with high performance parts the waranty should be 30 seconds and / or 30 ft because of all the factors that could cause a melt down.

I personally know the guy Steve(OO) and he wouldn't **** on you even if you tried to screw him. I been dealing with him since the week I started any action on the net and been doing lots of parts and accessories as of late with Steve. He is a straight shooter and the kit was a RCC kit, The new owner I can't vouch for other than he did a trade with Steve. The thing is there is always 3 sides to the story. The guy has done some things with the bike since picking it up and it could be the most simple thing causing it not to make tons of power. The night he got it and tested it out all was fine, if there was an issue he should have solved it then and not be bashing RCC now. I been working with Steve since the day him and the guy started talking about the trade so i know alot about it.

I know Steve well enough and RCC good enough that the guy can bring it here and I'll put it on my dyno and find the issue for him. If it's turbo related i'll do it for free, if it's his lack of ability to find a simple fix, I'll charge him my shop rate.

i live in the same area...omaha,council bluffs, lincoln all within 40 min of each other. i would like to know were he had it tuned cause there arent any compitent tuners in this area for sure. not one i would trust my machine with! if anyone knows of one let me know cause i sure cant find em.

Richard, Here is my number and email below, if he really wants the issue solved.. 503-490-6072... If need be I can have a truck pick it up and deliver it to my work here anyday of the week. We have trucks coming to and from Cali daily..

Over there in other forum Battman is right you need to stop all communications with this idget. He has already thrown the lawyer word at you so I'd stop if it was me. Although he says the lawyer says go ahead as long as he doesn't make any personal attacks but the website he created or is thinking about creating is slanderous. It names a business you are owner of and is thereby making a personal attack on you. So it kinda makes me think he full of brown stuff all the way around and nothing he says is true.

It was probably a small easily fixable problem when it made 169@7psi. But then they upped it to 10psi and still probably didn't have it running right and have now fried something.

He's a multimillionaire but owns a how flipping old Kawi dragbike and bought a used Busa?
Liar!

He's the customer service rep at his DADDIES company most likely
And if so we all should call the crap outta the place complaining about whatever

You owe him nothing and have already given him more than you should have.
