My help bombed out to stuff the motor back in bike..
I got the thing from the floor to the hoist by myself but now you gotta pick the blasted thing up and slide it up in frame..

had to think about it for a day.. but!!

my big snap-on screwdriver across the top of the frame right at the pads

a ratchet strap from the triple tree to the t-stat housing (ratchet strap hooks) and I just wind up the ratchet strap and it picked the motor up

after I had it "on the hook" I just lifted (more like pivoted) the motor and slid the bottom rear bolt in..

Second ratchet strap to PAIR valve bracket on front of motor.. up to triple clamp again and sucked the motor right up into place.. dang, did not even break a sweat and was done in about 5 minutes..

Thanks Daniel for clearing up the idea that the valve cover would hit the frame and telling be about the rear bolt pivot you use.. Bike will be running again tomorrow now!

I just did not have the muscle to get the thing up there..

:beerchug: Then you can ride so I can live vicariously through those of you that are still putting on the miles.
I was supposed to be in OKC with UncleSteve doing track day but family stuff got in the way.. I think I do get to at least take a ride tomorrow after I get the thing buttoned up...

:beerchug: Anytime Pal.
Hey I just like the BS sessions on the phone with you...
