fit like a glove and work like a charm now,the brass piece is tappered at both ends,needed a pair of channel locks to squeeze it in,theres no chance of it falling out but it gave me the 1/4" i was looking for.I rode in to work this morning (in the rain,damn weather guessers) and no problems.I will put up some pics 2nite when i get home...thanks to everyone who helped

That's great! I really like mine. You can still only use a two finger pull with these leveres. I get alot of people asking me if they have a sharp edge like a knife LOL!

I have the same levers. No issues what so ever. Remember to install bushings.
