cleaning wheels, do u guys really use lemon pledge?

If you have a ton of built up brake dust and chain fling, kerosene on a rag works well. Following it with Honda spray cleaner right after is my preferred method.

I tried the pledge on my wheels last night,

Once the sun comes out again in Asheville I take a pic and see if I like it.

I do like the idea of using up pleadge versus my Honda spray polish on wheels,

Kerosene on the chain to clean it. Dupont on the chain and pledge the whole bike! Pledge makes the bike look better than any wax/cleaner/polish/shiner i have ever used. I buy commercial size cans

I tried Pledge once and found that it leaves a very thin layer of protection compared to paste wax. Never used it again because I assumed that I would have to put it on a lot more frequently than I would the wax. I clean the rims with WD40 right before I wash them with soap and water. Kerosene on the chain to clean it.
