I think a lot of us know that bypassing the clutch switch by jumpering it out is a bad idea. If you didn't, it puts the bike in the nuetral map when you do this all the time, which causes early rev limiter, wrong fuel/ignition tables etc.

I have always been jealous how Kawasaki's, at least ZX-14s I know are able to start their bikes in neutral without pulling the clutch in. No idea why it took me this many years to think of this fun little gadget LOL, but here it is.

Hi Kiwi, this I made for gen1, but I borrowed a used connector to make it. I will order connectors for both gen1 and gen2, probably be a weel before I get them and csn build them up. I did add them to my website today as well.
Very cool, I reckon it should be an item of covetousness lol.
I get tired of cable tying my clutch back to start the bike while working on it on the lift table. I would certainly use this . . . a lot!

@smithabusa

hi genius - lol -
and in deed you seem to be that :thumbsup: :bowdown:

these connectors (alone) are usually not available at usual shops even not at suzuki or other dealers.

but solution is possible by this link : www.xmas1.at (but only av. in german)

so - if you need help (caused by the language) send me pics of the missing cons each in 3 views plus the special name of the bike (gen1 or 2 or zx14, ... or else) they would have to work in (mail adress will follow in second via a sep. private message) and i will surch in that austrian homepage catalogue.

the chance to find your con (s) is very high so don´t hasitate to send pics.

and the guys there speeak english too - if you got the article no (by me) you can then mail them to order any conn. (incl. its inlays) you want .

I want one for my Gen 2.If they become available.

You said you put them on your web site?

Where is your site?
Hey there Falcon,
My site is www.boostbysmith.com

i dont have any of these built up yet, was waiting to gauge interest before I buy the connectors to start making them up. Looks like maybe a couple of you guys here are interested so I will order a few sets anyway and get them on the way. delivery hasn't been super fast lately but will get them on the way.

Greg
