clutch really heavy and snaps on

i have a 03 busa with 34000 miles on her its been a terific bike but then i noticed it was harder to pull in the clutch and then if i really boot her when i first get going it revs and then lanches forward after a few miles it rides as normal but still heavy to pull in and isnt as light as she was been to dealer and he just give me a list of all the bits i need which mounts to a lot of money for bits i might not even need has anyone any ideas what it is and what parts to buy

have you pulled it apart and looked at it. It sounds to me like either your cable needs lube or replaced or one of the clutch springs may have broke. As fa as the reving at first sounds like clutches are done for and need replacing and if they're stuck together then that could aso explain the hard lever pull

Busa has a Hydraulic Clutch.

your right I am still used to my r1 but the other suggestions could be the problem
