Pull out old one without taking your cases apart. Put in new one. 20 minutes max.

No problem.
You need to buy that seal anyway so please post a pic so we can figure it out.
It seems to be harder than first thought.
I will have to replace it too someday so....

Go back and look at my first post...I gave him a link to help him, but he didn't get it
I agree, he just didn't see it.
Now he does so we are all OK.
Lets find the answer, because I will have to change it one day, and as far as I can see, there are opinion answers, but nobody has posted the answer that worked when they did it themselves?

Sorry to be posting the end result so late. I did have to drop the engine and replace seal. There is no easy way to do it. All that for a seal! The seal is made of metal and covered with a light rubber coating. Here is the part no. 09285-06015 SEAL (6X34X5.5) $4.66. Took about the whole day to complete.
On a different note:
I have learned much on this site and I have fixed my own bike along with other Busa's. I am now upgrading my '04 Busa to Big Bore. I will let you guys know how it all turned out.
