Comfortable Seat

Hey ORG...I have a 2009 hayabusa, the white one, and I commute just about 98 miles one way to work. By the time i get to work, I am unable to sit down because my A$$ is killing me. Who is the best vendor/sponsor to hit up to get a really nice comfortable seat, that I still wouldn't mind using on track days. I do not want to ship my current seat off, rather I want to buy one out right.

Maybe find a used one and have New image do one like this. I really like mine. Good luck

I have a set of new image seats, all black with black kanji and haybusa stiched in. Bought a corbin so i'm thinkin about selling them, they have about 7k miles on them and still in perfect shape. Let me know if you're interested

Seats are like oil preferances LOL everyone has their choice. i prefer the Suzuki gel seat takes tome miles to break in but Its pretty good IMO

If you can find someone with the seat you're thinking about see if they will let you sit on it or maybe even put it on your bike and ride it first. I had a New Image and hated the hump on the back, Like others said you're stuck in one position. BUT like others have said already it's all personal preference. He can make you a seat without the hump though. Might try that next time.

I like the stock seat. after 11k miles it breaks in nice..lol.. I had Corbins on my other bikes in the past and loved them, Just not interested in spending that kind of money on one..

I can't believe I'm saying this,,, but the stock seat works good for me and I'm a very big man.
However I do have the lower pegs, and this contributes to overall comfort.

I cut mine down similar to a Tobin seat. Works great. My ride is 60mi. One member had a good idea to add a gel pad in the cutout.

Stock works great for some folks, and belive it or not, not all the stock seats are the same. My friend and I both have 08's, his stock seat is and has always been very soft and comfortable since brand new, I really like it. To date his bike only has around 4k on it too.
I ran my stock seat for more miles than that and it never changed, it was very hard and uncomfortable, I hated it. Another friend now has a 2011, and his seat is as bad as mine was.
Seats are a preference, and it's best to sit on many different ones until you find what works best for you.:beerchug:
