aboard!

Where in Arkansas are ya located?  There are some really nice roads that are very Busa-friendly

I've ridden choppers, cruisers, tourers, sport-tourers, etc.  I've not had as much fun as the Busa!  Like others have said, it goes as fast or as slow as your want - just in how much you twist the wrist...

Go for the Busa - you won't regret it!

If you have to ask, Buy the Chopper ! Or come to your senses and buy the Best bike ever built !

I bought a 2000 Busa with the intent of just riding it and keeping it stock. Way more mods than I want to admit and dollars later I have to say my TLS has not left the garage all season. I hope you didn't expect to get any other answer than BUY THE BUSA on a HAYABUSA forum but I love mine....go for it and buy one you won't regret it........

If a tree falls in the woods... and you're not there to hear it did it make any noise?

If you you smile like a mad-man inside your lid as your Busa firmly flys your backside at zero feet above the ground to speeds well in excess of the posted speed limit... and there is no law dawg around to clock you, were you really speeding?

Things that make you go, hmmmm. Hmmmmm?

Put that money down on that '08 yet; you better hurry. Had a Kawi Mach III 250 in 72, KZ-650 in 78, and bought the Busa in Sept. '06. My warranty runs out next week with close to 21K on it. Hope that tells you something about this bike.

Track days, Buddy nights at the local strip, and being very smart will save you, and if all else fails; be very respectful and compliant when dealing with popo .

The GSX1300R tours great, rides two up better than most cruisers, and all knows its not to be messed with. I ride my 84 XT 600 to and from work, it does "150" clicks that is! Still speeding but no self respecting state bobo would dare! Now on my Busa

Ok I'll kick in my $.02 for free. I've owned a busa and still may get another. After waiting 3 years for a new busa I'm still undecided about its looks and don't know enuf about its performance to decide at this point.

Anyway, I went to my first cruiser at my baby got stolen 3 years ago. I love it and have a lil over 20k on it in the last 2 years. Cruisers and sportsbikes are 2 different animals, comparing them is like comparing apples and rocks. There is no comparison they have different functions and different rides. Basically it really depends on what your predominat style of riding is gonna be. If you are gonna keep it under 75mph and you are kewl with that I would say customize a cruiser or build a chopper. Keeep in mind your average chopper will do a 100+ mph. And if you buy a stock metric you can run 100 mph all day and do it comfortably. But you're not gonna get that quick adrenaline rush you'ld get from a busa. Grab a busa and twist the throttle and you can almost get to 100 mph in first gear. The "B" in Busa stands for breaking the law. You're not gonna get a busa and ride around doing the speed limit in most cases. In most cases you're gonna find yourself breaking the law on a regular basis to various degrees. But you can break the law in a cruiser at any given time, the busa just allows you to break it faster and push it further.

As for looks, visit some bike shows you can customize any bike till your heart's content or your wallets flat.

The key is getting a bike that speaks to you and meets your need, whether physical or spiritual.

Either way keep the rubber on the road and your helmet in the wind
