Cool old bikes

Not sure about that but there’s something else that’s missing.
That is a Norvin , Norton frame with a Vincent motor , looks so good for sure .
I think I’ve heard of these.
Those motors! They look like stubby aircraft cylinders, so cool. Old Norton motors are great looking too. How’d you like to ride this lightweight?
Be great to have such a classic in the collection . That Commando has upgrade front caliper and disc , and the black and gold paint is beautiful , like a John Player Special .
These two sort of follow that theme, a Honda and a Kawasaki like mine. And here’s another gawgush motor from that huge Indian. I love that black and gold.
My brother had a Norton 750 Commando Highrider back in the day and thought the seat was ugly so he changed it and the bars out for a regular Commando set. He said if he'd know how collectible that model would become he would have kept the original parts.
It was a great bike although he was setting the timing on a weekly basis as it would vibrate out of time. The shifter was weird due to it being on the right side......I rode it a couple times and hit the rear brake trying to shift the first few minutes.
He sold that as he had a few bikes and found he was riding the BSA with electronic ignition more.

It is a good time to find a classic , even though you will have to hunt to find a bargain . Perhaps not a good thing , but deseased estates are sometimes fruitful .
Here's an old 'Wing for someone....Honda was revolutionary in those days with all the big touring rigs they offered....Gold Wing, CBX, Silver Wing....

I still see one like that around here, and a guy that lives about a mile and half from me has what looks like an '85 or '86.
I see him ride by almost every day, unless it's really cold out.
The bike is factory black and gold, and lives under an open carport, but it still looks to be in great condition.
Honda has always made things that'll seemingly run forever.
My not so younger self would be ashamed of how much 47 year old me likes my Goldwing

No one caught the oddities on the HRD? See the forward location of the side stand? And the chain, where is it?

Take the old Nortons and BSAs where you had to tickle the carbs before starting them....
How bout this uh, one off. My guess is that he made it in the prison’s metal shop and no one knew WTH it was until he fired it up and rode out the gate. No time to change his pants.
Anyone know what this chrome rod and ? is? And are these dual drum brakes? And is this a ride height adjuster?

Ran across this picture. I really liked the original flat fours. This one

Their 'gas tank' that really isn't the gas tank has some cool features too, like the stored kick starter and storage, with the flip up top and fold down sides.
