that's the catch... It's NOT a track at all, just streets in a small little town on a island in England. that's what makes it so great. I think I only heard of only a couple of MotoGP and AMA riders try to race in the Isle of Man. I heard that because it's such a high risk factor and high consequences involved, most AMA and MotoGP riders won't or can't (prohibited by their contracts) to race in the TT Isle of Man.Dayum those guys are fast. That is a great track, but if you mess up you will be a wall decoration.
I used to think MotoGP was the Sheeet, until I seen the TT Isle of Man. Still love MotoGP and AMA, but for me the TT tops them all because to race pass someone's pub, post office and rose garden at 150 to 160 mph requires truely Jedi like skills / focus or some sort of psychological madness... likely a combination of those qualities.
What I wish to see one of these days, is that for TT to bring that race to the States... Los Angeles
Maybe just me, but I imagine that would be a cool race to watch. For added excitment, the race can run locally on Colorado Blvd of Pasadena (where the Rose Parade takes place each new year) instead of all of the 210 FWY.
hahhaha, pipe dream, right?
