cool vid

Dayum those guys are fast. That is a great track, but if you mess up you will be a wall decoration.
that's the catch... It's NOT a track at all, just streets in a small little town on a island in England.  that's what makes it so great.  I think I only heard of only a couple of MotoGP and AMA riders try to race in the Isle of Man.  I heard that because it's such a high risk factor and high consequences involved, most AMA and MotoGP riders won't or can't (prohibited by their contracts) to race in the TT Isle of Man.

I used to think MotoGP was the Sheeet, until I seen the TT Isle of Man.  Still love MotoGP and AMA, but for me the TT tops them all because to race pass someone's pub, post office and rose garden at 150 to 160 mph requires truely Jedi like skills / focus or some sort of psychological madness... likely a combination of those qualities.

What I wish to see one of these days, is that for TT to bring that race to the States... Los Angeles

maybe?  8 laps, starting in Pasadena right where the 110 Fwy starts southbound for some mild twisties (1 of the first FREEWAYs built in L.A. when cars had a max speed of 65 mph, this is a 2 lane twisty) > 10 FWY eastbound to the 605 FWY Northbound so the race will pass the gravel pits with the San Gabriel mountains in the background > 210 fwy westbound to exit off of Fair Oaks to the point where it started and will end (210 FWY and 110 FWY don't directly connect, plans to connected them about 50 years ago was halted by the businesses and the wealthy local residents of the area, still a open case in court till this day, I believe).  Do this round 8 or 10 laps.

Maybe just me, but I imagine that would be a cool race to watch.  For added excitment, the race can run locally on Colorado Blvd of Pasadena (where the Rose Parade takes place each new year) instead of all of the 210 FWY.

hahhaha, pipe dream, right?

If you liked that video you should rent this one (available from Netflix etc.)

Isle of Man TT 2004 Review

This includes Senior, Junior, Sidecar, the last 125 races and Formula classes with front view, rear view, overhead helicopter, track-side etc.

There's also a cool vid of a lap of the circuit with a "heads up" display so you can see the road speed, gear selection, rpm etc.

The speeds they get up to on that course are mind-bending. Watch it on a big-screen TV and you'll be leaning into the corners, and trying to apply the brakes...

Give me a break guys, that's just what YOU look like on your Busa on a nice Sunday afternoon ride in New Hampshire

Nice! Did you guys see that video on the accident in Mexico, sick!! Damn guy was drunk but managed not to get prosecuted for it as according to the reporter he only smelled like alcohol. If you look at the video the guy never saw the group of motorcycles. Poor guy or guys that died.
