I went to Wisconsin this weekend to see my brother. I found that the highway patrol in OH was intense as usuall but the indiana state police were just crazy. they had unmarked vehicles such as dodge chargers, all black with tinted windows. I must have seen ten cars pulled over on the indiana turnpike.I didn't see to many cops in Illinois and only two in Wisconsin in the two days was there. I know there are people that live in these states I would like to know if my observations in these states are correct in general.

my buddy up here is a cop and they don't have end of the month quotas to fill, they have daily quotas. They are suppose to write 3.2 tickets per shift.. 3.2

Quotas!

THat makes the assumption people are always doing wrong. Why don't they have quotas for catching drug dealers and murderers?

Indiana state police has had some fast cars.5.0 Mustangs,5.7 IROC's tuned to run 170+.Then the SS Camaro LS1,a RWD SS Impala LT1 with a belt drive super charger. Now the Charger's you're starting to see in small towns as replacement for the Crown Vic's.The super fast are just put on certain parts of the state.37 south of Indy is very heavy with the state boys.
Some of the cars are more than stock. Those SS Camaro's would run 180.It's been done. And those boys love their job in those cars. But no,it's not like that everywhere in the state.

Spending all that tax money on hot rods just to write a ticket

Well there are a few troopers here in ohio. but never run from a trooper they will chase you and though you may bee way faster you can never outrun the radio. The troopers in Ohio main purpose is not to catch killers like you all think they are traffic enforcement. and theres no undercover cars here in OHIO

Ohio does not have unmarked cars.. so easier to spot them

Indiana:....sort of a story there....

The Gov. (Mitch Daniels) gave away the toll road (like a billion$$) to a Spanish company.... imagine that, out out of country entity can make money with a toll road and the state cant? (fricken unreal) So... the state has lost a source of liquid revenues (tolls) and now they make up for it with... you guessed it... tickets!

still in disbelief that they sold the toll road... amazing . shall we discuss Daylight savings time that he also did to us? (and he is a Republican no less)

Here in Kentucky, they will use any vehicle that has wheels. I have even been pulled over by an old crysler mini van. The old boxy kind with the fake wood panels on the outside. Boy was I surprised it was a cop! If the police confinscate your car, they will use it as an unmarked. I have seen very nice fixed up cars and a uniformed cop get out. WTF.

Illinois is horrible the undercovers are every where and yes they have way supped up ones, and love to chase 140 and they are right with you smiling,so if you come out here watch out I90 especialy runs from Chicago to Rockford and Wisconsin.

Dude WTF I would not pull over for an old woody minivan. I would think is some sick rapist trying to abduct me. Ill run from him untill I see a real cruiser.

They even use camo here. In Beaumont they have a white suburban with Gulf coast Fishing stickers all over the back, now you know that's not fair! You think is some "good old boy" going fishing. Well I guess he is fishing, just ain't a good old boy, and he's not using a pole!

I know ohio is bad but I would say that indiana is worse. You can tell because if you are going 5 over on the indiana turnpike hardly anyone passes you. I ohio people fly on the turnpike course nothing like in michigan. I have been going 90 on I75 and people pass me like I am sitting still.
