This winter I ended up hooking my garage door opener to my flash to pass button. Love the mod as now the garage door opener is out of sight but still works great via the flash to pass button.

I like the idea of the Cat5. I already bought a ton of 22 gauge wire though unfortunately :-(


What did you cover the backs up with?

I used Electrical tape to cover up the back (I just wanted to hide the connectors). But I'm thinking that I may fabricate a plastic cover for it instead...

Which one of those switches flushes the toilet?

Hrmmm - I think that will come when I add a 'dump pipe'

Thought about doing that...but when I had the opportunity to get the PMR switches...I used one of those instead.
