Cracked Fairing 09 Busa

Never stopped liking my Busa just did not want to deal with a company that will not stand behind their products.

Well tomorrow is the get her fixed day.:cheerleader: I will let you all know how it goes after I get her back tomorrow night.

Frustrating for certain, but I guess they can't take on something like a cracked fairing not knowing the history of the bike...imagine every person claiming it's defective or cracked without you doing anything wrong? While you may indeed not be at fault, I would imagine plenty would lie and try for a set of free plastics.

I wish things were different, but I can understand a huge corporation not covering something cosmetic on the Busa. I would imagine companies like Honda and Kawasaki would handle things in much the same way.

Don't feel bad...I was told 6 years ago that my bike cutting off on me for no apparent reason was because I wasn't "capable or operating it correctly". I was then told to never contact the local Suzuki dealer for any warranty work because I didn't buy from them and they would refuse me service. I learned that day that most things "under warranty" would no doubt be a huge hassle for me to get covered, hence I never even opted for the ext. coverage.

So sorry for your fairing though; that's frustrating :(

:rofl::rofl:You're not capable of operating it correctly!!!:rofl::rofl: That's hilarious! We all know girls can't ride! I'm kidding, that's awful, funny, but awful...but sounds like dealer service to me!:rofl::rofl:

Ha, Suzuki did not want to cover my fogging headlight issue on my 08 750, they claimed it was my fault for pressure washing, I don't even wash my bike with water. The dealer did the pressure washing before delivery and that's when it was fogged. Something tells me they don't care to even warranty anything, this 750 will most likely be the last Suzuki im buying. As for your fairing, perhaps when it was serviced the incorrect fastener was used (maybe too long) causing the crack?

Sorry you are upset about the plastic...but plastic is plastic, not titanium. I have an 08 bought it new and tabs broke off within the first 7 months on the nose when installing the HIDS. Plastics are cheap, it is the mechanics that make this bike what it is. If you are willing to bail on the bike over plastics, you got into the bike for the wrong reasons.

There are to many riders/bikes/issues/stunters/hacks out there that outnumber the number of good people like yourself. You are a victim of those folks looking for the factory to make right their screw ups. Whether it is a busa, honda, yamaha, kawi, KTM...or whatever...you will still fall victim to the unscrupulous looking for a free ride. Don't take it personal...

guys as I said I was never hating on the Busa. It was Suzuki for telling me to go jump in a lake. But my dealers owner stepped up to the plate and is making things right. I am not a big fan of companies that will not stand behind there products. My last bike was a CBR929RR that I bought new also and Honda stood behind it whenever I had a problem. Same with the Dodge I sold over the summer. They stood behind their product every time I had a problem.

That was all I was saying. I love the bike.......Just not a fan of Suzuki as a company after this.

Ok I got the fairing replaced today and it is back to its glory. They got it done with no problems and she looks good.:cheerleader:
