Hmmm.. I wonder if this engine upgrade is offered by Goldenchild? I didn't see it in his packages. I guess I'll have to ask the wife for a few extra bones this winter for the "Jet Turbo option".

(bigoltool @ Nov. 02 2006,21:40) Got my new cycle World tonight and read a little snippet in there that said they were even told that the 08 Busa was supposed to have been shown at the dealer show! They say there was an obscure video of it shown at the show but that was it.

Saw the same thing. Instead of getting any pics or even a spec hint, all they got was some blurred video and told more information will be released in June 2007. Not a early release bike. Just information. Be Lucky if it's a real prototype.

I love my 2000 busa but i'm seriously sweatin the ZX-14 or 10R as a possibility for next year. Store the busa for a big turbo project down the road (year or so maybe). Would just like to try something different and improved and kawi has a nice package in both the 14 and 10. And if i end up not liking or having probs with either choice kawi i'd go with, the bus is still there to fall back on.

Seriously all, if we get a new busa for 2008, who's to say we'll all like the new direction? Not everyone in the ZX-12R camp jumped ship to the ZX-14. Seen quite a few haters from that relm actually. Besides If it's a Busa 1400cc with just 10hp more then the zx-14 offers, that's lame. If it's a 1500cc monster making 200rwhp restricted then Holy Crap who WOULDN'T want one?

But honestly, would anyone here buy a 1st year edition? Providing insurance for it wouldn't be too insane, I'd want one, maybe in it's 2nd year build or 3rd. Well after the bugs are gone and aftermarket goodies and tuning is available everywhere. And who's to say kawi or anyone else won't answer if a war based on hp and 1/4 mile figures = Teh SALES?
