damn, just watching the news, theres alot of ppl out there robbing banks and everything else.ppl that have no previous record committing some serious crime.

I can only believe it is because of the economic crisis and all the ppl losing there jobs and holidays coming up,familys to feed and provide for..etc,makes for some desperate times.

Im starting to think its the beginning of the end for this country, starting to remind me of the movie "Escape from Ny"

doesnt look to be turning around anytime soon either.

I agree the economy is bad, and is likely to get worse in the short term.

One of my employers has furloughed 300 pilots during the last couple of months. 500 more and I'll have the opportunity to do something more rewarding with my time.

Best wishes to all who've been impacted to date. If one hasn't already, this would be a very good time to build up that emergency fund.

I stopped a while ago also,havent bought a news paper in abut 10yrs.news was always the same..BAD!

probably last 6months to a yr I started watching CNN, gotta stay informed with this crap now,its getting into unchartted waters,and like the saying goes ,"KNOWLEGE IS POWER"

Read an article the other day that suggests people in foreclosure are torching their houses to collect insurance money. Scary thought, eh? More anecdotal than factual but makes ya think.

I watch a lovey-dovey news channel in the morning sometimes but not the evening news. Too harsh. I get most of mine on line.
