We are also looking at Turboing our first motorbike engine.I understand what you mean.. but I trust his work since he did lots of work on my car and the guy does it for a living. This will be his first motorcycle turbo kit. But as I said I trust him and I know his work. I will post pictures once its done so you can see the quality for yourself.

the air box/ plenum is to distribute the air evenly
if you pressurize it it will still force itself into the motor
dont try and over engineer the design you will hinder the setup more then improve onit
lots of builders in this industry have been building plenums with this type of design with no problems
if you pressurize a box with holes it will force itself out of the holes not bounce around till it is sucked out
that is the wrong way to think about it
the design of a kit is simple in ways but also can be over thought
the exhaust is more key to the design then the plenum
