the stock pump only flows 14.7ghp at 43psi.just from doing dyno test my bike would fall off about 12-15hp from 9200 to redline.which does not help at all at the dragstrip or running on the road. there are a few people who still don't beleive in the bike how fast it is.i now have a system that flows 30ghp at 45psi with return style regulator that is adjustable. i have a mallory 60fi pump, big efi filter, pressure gauge, steel braided lines. i spent about 475.00 but i have enough volume of fuel to push 350hp.you know turbo,1500cc w/n2o,etc. you also need to bump pressure to 45psi.once you have modified airbox, highflow pipe, and getting bike to stay cool.if decide to go with after market setup be sure you have a 40 micron filter before pump and a 5 micron after .it will easier to service

Bob,it should never fall off,not when a stocker peaks at 9800.besides i had problems with this for awhile.i have seen bikes without an airbox and pull 170h.p. plus.what your saying may be true, but i know my bike

My bike also falls off at approx 9200 without ramair. When you include high velocity air into the nose you will see the power peaks at approx. 10,250 rpm almost 176 HP, about 11 hp over the non ram air run.
I did this on a Superflow 250 Dyno.
If you lean your bike out at top end on a dyno you will see higher HP without ramair. Without the air flow you don't need the fuel. But once on the road the air is there and fuel is needed also.
But, my bike would never drop off as much as 12-15 HP.

Of course it should fall off. have you not seen the curves?
O.K 9800 rpm it flattens.
It should not fall off 12 hp though!
With air flow / proper fuel/air ratio it will cont. to rise til redline.

busa: could you e-mail ALL your info on this
topic. i'm getting ready to start some similar test. i agree with alot of what you've already said.
i need all of the where and how to get these parts that you have used...thanks..frank

Frank the informtion is right in his first post.
He had a fuel pump problem and the Busa may have one in general as it relates to the strainer. If you go up in power (mods) in would make sense to add more. Which is what i will try.
The parts are available, but i would still like to know where he mounted it?
Bob

well, guys i had a problem with mounting everything, so i can't use what i got.hopefully somebody will make a pump with more volume and about twice gph.but it does work!now i got to find someone to buy all this junk
