I've had this one up to 94 indicated (on a closed course under controlled conditions

Outgrow this one? Maybe, maybe not. Heck, I'm having fun on it!

My .02 worth.

3rd generation Magna 750 VF750C. It is carberauted (sp) so the power rolls on slower, its a V-4. It will walk away from 600s and some of the older Gixers. It is low to the ground. Reliable as all hell. My g/f went from her Volusia 800 to my Magna and she LOVED that step up. It can go Interstate all day and night. It is an easy lightweight cruiser, and let me tell you what she can lean it over and she has spanked many a Gixer on that bike once she increased her skill level.

Earth to fellow Busa riders.....earth to fellow Busa riders.....believe it or not, it's not all about horsepower for everyone who riders a motorcycle! I know that's hard to believe for many of us but I have seen it with my own eyes, people riding bikes that aren't fast, that don't accelerate like rockets, that don't corner like they're on rails! It's true.

Let's see..been 'driving' (yes quotes) for less than 1 year, has taken the MSF and it was the first time she was on a bike. I think Bazooki has a point here! :rulez:

It's about the fun! And guess what I'm driving to work - nope, ain't the busa...

I didn't mention it before. The Magna is an easy to ride docile bike that can also do very well slow. It gives her room to grow up in capability without outgrowing the bike.

There are some great choices called out here in several of the bikes.

I owned a Magna (97 I think?). It's a nice bike - too much power for her at this point in time. Maybe when/if she steps up though
