Stopped by the Kawa booth today (it's not ready for the public) and they had a zx12 sitting there, it had a not attached to the bike:

do not start
no clutch
no oil
do not crank over
bad fit on seat, wired on.
daytona display only.

Think kawa is ready with the bike......no way.

I did see 5 2000 production gsxr750's in the Suzuki tent.

Hmm, we will be in the pits most of the time getting the bike ready for our first practice session on wednesday. The vendor area will not be open until wednesday. Went down mail street (north) to Wendys to the sport bike hangout tonight, saw 2 busa's. AMI hp shootout had 4-5 there this afternoon.

Hello Guys, just wanted to drop a line to the Busa Owners who told me about this site Saturday night in the Wendys parking lot in Daytona. I was on the 2k Blue and white busa. This site kicks butt. Also loved the 6 gear burnout the red and silver Busa did by the guy from Alabama.

Ohh yeah I forgot the impordant question. Is the guy that was riding the yellow CBR ok, I went out with the pack Saturday night when he lost it on LGPA. Rough tumble, but he looked ok at the scene, anyone know?

Atlanta GA. Law Dog,

I am glad to see you here. I am the one with the red busa that gave you the valuable info.

I did not leave with the pac Sat. night, so I missed the accident. When I arrived the cops were there so I went home.

Oh, and by the way, on the way home I raced a couple other busas. One of them had 205hp. It was built by Lee S. That thing rocked!! Kicked my butt.

Joe

dog--ive been telling everyone about this meeting place also--i will be there fri sat and sun night look for me on my blue 2000 its the one with the strobes! I am from louisiana i go by hallazz--see you at wendys if your still there!

Frequent flyer I'd love to be able to converse with that busa by lee owner. Its supposed to be very streetable and reliable. Made to be a ride hard and put away wet bike. According to lee, nothing is sacrificed to get the big numbers. Anyway if you could arrange it mail me at: omegaltd@gateway.net
I will give you all my contact numbers.

Jeff, it's a shame you didn't have your digital camera to take a pic of that note, that would have been great stuff to run into my buddies face whois forever waiting for his ZX12R.

Is it still possible?

Joe.... Hello again, sorry I talked to quite a few guys on Hyabusa's were you the one that did the 6 gear burnout, or the one that is friends with the salesman at Motions bike shop in Marietta Ga? I appologize again for not remembering names. I have a few ?'s for this forum , I plan on dropping a tooth on my front sprocket this Saturday, do you guys think I should drop 2 links off my chain? Before you ask, no i dont drag race, but I would like to be able to wheelie this thing better, and I dont forsee , ever trying to go over 150 mph, so Im not that worried about top end. Also what are your thoughts on me lowering my bike 2 inches, I like the looks of it lowered but what will I sacrifice by doing this? By the way on the way home I got to blow away a R-1 the guy was really surprised at the pull away power of the Busa and I even gave him the bump off the line never saw him past 45 mph.
Thanks guys,
Craig

Hallazz... Hey man, sorry Ive already left the beach, and the old lady says I cant go out and play again until we go to Myrtle Beach S.C. Are there anyone else interested in going down some week in May or June besides Bike week? I know better than to go during that week, cops are tough down there.Be safe Hallazz , and if you ride in the pack stay toward the rear, its much safer , tell J.R. Holt...A.K.A. Badass on the yellow CBR [At least I think he was riding a CBR] that the cop from Atlanta said hello, I scared the hell outta him down there, Ill let him explain. He will be the one doing head stands, endos and wheelies everywhere.

We went back to take a pic of the bike....it was still there. I have sent the pics to turbo1300 to put up for all to see.

It looks like the bike did not have any internal parts (no crank, pistons, etc). I'm sure they won't tell people when they sit on the bike......gee this bike feels much less weight than the busa.....I guess so with no crank!

Went down to Wendys but it was early, on 1 busa was around (copper w/mikuni parts)
