Hey guys can anyone help me out.. I am trying to put my 2011 busa in dealer mode but every time I use the jumper in the right connections the ignition fuse keeps blowing out.. Is this cause I have a power commander 5 hooked up?? The reason I am checking it in dealer mode is that it lags for a second out of idle it has never done this before and I have just gave it a complete tune up.. Thank you

It almost sound as if you are going into the wrong plug...having a PC hooked up shouldn't make any difference...I might be wrong but I have yet to hear of this happening because of a PC...

Before the tune up it had no lag?

If it were me, I'd retrace my steps to make sure something isn't disconnected or loose especially under the tank...you probably had the air box off and lots of things need to be unplugged...

Hey thanks for responding , On the the white plug I am using the black and white and the red and white ones..I have done it plenty of times but this never happens..No the bike was running great before and after the tune up, I have only 1000 miles on the new tune and the lag just started happening this weekend sucks anymore Ideas?? Thanks bro

I'd still go in and re-check to see if something came off or is partially plugged in...

You've done the jumper test with the PC before and it didn't blow the fuse? If so, that is a real stumper....

It must be a significant lag for you to want and diagnose it...is the bike basically falling on it's face and then picking up again?

No its a very small lag between dead stop to full trottle.. Yes its small but it never did this before..Its new I only have 14.000 miles on it.. Drag pipes and PC5 are the only changes I have made..I live in the middle of nowhere Vermont the roads are empty and no cops so I can run these roads here a 160-170 all the time, so I want my bike running great at all times

Bro you were right loose PC5 ground wire tighten it and the codes came right up..Boy I feel stupid I should know better, but the ecu says nothings wrong so now I am trouble shooting any ideas about the lag?? Thanks
We typed at the same time...

Well, one problem solved and another to go...

I say it again, I'd go in and check all the connections under the tank and air box to make sure something isn't put together 100%...sometimes vibration and hitting bumps can partially unplug a connector.

It's not sending a code so it's not electronic, that leaves it down to something physical...

Does it rev cleanly?
Is there any misfiring?
Are you noting any black soot/exhaust?
Have you checked your PC5 to make sure it is doing what it is supposed to be doing? and,
after finding this loose ground wire, have you tested it yet?

Hi In Ma, there is Eric at DAS his # 978-453-0807. He races XDA and has gone 6.4 in the 1/4. He knows what he is doing. He is in Draket Ma. Just say Mike with the LSR busa said to call. He is helping me out big time.
