ok.. back when i was dumb and young *like its improved over the 4 years* i was stupid and enrolled in 1 of those debt consolidation company's (Homeland Financial) anywho. thankfully it took me only 3 months to figure out i was getting totally ripped off.. unfortunately, they got about $2500 of my $ 1st. *yes.. i know.. im stupid* anywho.. after i tried to contact them beyond numous times back in 2003 and basically getting told i cant cancel or if i do there is no refund. so i just
more and more to "supervisors" which basically went now here. thankfully i am all past that, and back in the positive side of not owing *yet im looking to buy a house.. here comes a nice 15 year morgage* ok, anywho.. i was wondering if there is anything i could really do against them. *just fyi, the reason im bringing this up now is i was cleaning thru the old files and ran across this stuff and tried ot look them up on the internet ( www.homelandfinancial.net) as u try 2 click on it, u c they dont exist anymore.. so i thought. so i googled them and i found this subpeona * http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/0523091/060921cmp0523091.pdf * about them. anyone know if i still can go after them, or how to find out what the outcome was about this?

oh did i say that.... but i would just cut the loses. i have been screwed upside down before and i just say f'it .... i almost done some stuff like that before but when you have to give them so much money that when i blow them out the window
