Exactly what happens in life when your sense of humor changes and is that right or wrong? For example, let's say in your teens you thought something was really funny, yet later in life you no longer find it funny any more or maybe not as funny. Should you really allow yourself to OUTGROW things that brought you so much pleasure of entertainment simply because you are an adult now? Is that healthy? Some examples might be: fart jokes. as a youngster, there is not much funnier than the look on their faces, and blabbering noise coming from their backside and the offense it bestows on those around you. but now, it's not funny? or it IS funny and you have to "Act Mature" around it? Why? when did we LOOSE the perspective of that being funny - provided it was funny too you earlier in life?
another example might be seeing someone kicked in the nads. again funny face and scream sounds followed by going fetal on the ground is pretty funny. BUT, maybe it happens to you a couple times and you remember the pain and it is no longer funny because of painful memories?
in more dangerous examples, maybe certain handicaps were kinda funny looking until we have a child of our own with similar handicap, and then it's offensive when people poke fun at that. Yet we USED to laugh at that ourselves. Maturity? Maybe some things SHOULD be grown out of, but I think there is a bunch that is not.
