I called my dealer today and they told me there wasn't even going to be an 05 LE...I laughed and said it was on suk's website...they are clueless. Anyway, he said I'd have to put my order in for one within the next month if I really wanted one. Do you have to pay full retail for a LE? I really like the gunmetal grey color.
went to the javits center no le 05 had blue red and grey lots of bikes but i was realy bent about not seein what i went there for ive been callin every dealer on the internet triin to nail one now ! they all are sayin the same thing end of feb riverhead mineola and dealer from ohio they all said end of feb maybe this is what they tell potential buyers i have no friends at dealers just walkin through the door or callin up they all say give me a deposit i tell you when it comes in you can have the first one ! maybe this is the line straight out of suzuki salseman school ? any way i get realy nervous when the dates come and go left deposit on dec 10 told mid jan i was there lookin at all three colors then end of jan now end of feb has anyone lost a bike they had a deposit on or is this how they set the hook ? i dont care where it comes from if i can make it there in 24 hours with 2 people drivin i will pick it up if i cant i can arrange shipping ! think im goin to mes that guy to talk to his freind about a date only about a 14 hour ride ! yes ive got it bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I knew why Suzuki insists on a piss poor line of communications with their dealers and public. It's frustrating and not necessary in my opinion when there are potential customers wanting to know what is going on with the bike.
thanks ive been callin all over , nobody has them ,if they were released they would have had one at the javits center . weve been gettin a break in the weather on li so seein bikes 50 degree sunny days makin me nuts almost put the jet ski in the water to go for a ride to many icebergs floatin around ! dont think i can wait till april though , i am going to be chokin a salesman come the end of this month ! tell me april fine , tell me mid jan early feb late feb early march late march early april !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im goin to be pissed , not much for the roller coaster ride !
Well, i'm still waiting too, called the dealer yesterday and they still hadn't heard any new thinks from suzuki so I went out and bought me a new riding jacket. It's really nice the company is called First Racing it has forearm/elbow armor, shoulder armor and a back pad picked it up for $275 which I feel is a great deal it also has removeable thinsulate liner and of course zippered vents front and back. Best of all it's black with a metallic gray stripe running down the arms it should look really good with the bike.So anyway thats my plan 1 piece of new riding gear a month until I get the call then i'll be all ready to hit the road.I can post a pic of the jacket if anyone is interest just lemme know, the batteries in my cam are dead went to autorama yesterday and used em all up got some great shots though, they had the OCC shelby bike there some guy here in texas bought it.Only seeing that bike in person can you really appreciate how cool it really is.I'll run to store in a bit and get new batteries and post up some pics.
