It was a great trip guys and gals...glad you enjoyed the pictures...I wished I'd taken more of the ship, inside the lobbies, the restaurants...but, having a sick 3 year old for much of the trip kind of made my life seem a bit foggy...
I have been to Disney World and done the Orlando thing many times pre-kids...I just couldn't imagine dragging 'em there (not little ones anyway) and hearing "I'm tired, I want to go home, are we leaving yet?" Those parks cost way too much to just walk around for an hour before the complaining sets in
If your kids get bored on the ship, you're just a quick elevator ride away from the room where you can take a break. There's always something going on, so once they're rested, you head back out...it was the perfect vacation with kids...no driving around looking for parking places, no whiny kids following 10 paces behind because "you're walking too fast"...no moving from hotel to hotel...
For those of you thinking about doing it (Warren)
...go for it...
NOTE: If you travel after Dec. 28, 2006 to the Bahamas, you will need a passport. We were slated to need one for our trip, but the date was pushed back. Passports for kids run $80+, so for a family of 4, you're looking at nearly $400 for passports...just an FYI if you want to travel soon, do it before that date!
