Mine would not fit with my old exhaust, I forgot to put in on when I was home last. But when the bike was stock, I covered it in undercoating then just rinse it.

corrrect me if im wrong , i get the bit about the air , but it also deflects water away from the rear tyre that being thrown at it from the front . ????????
