Does the weather get any better than this?

The forcast today called for rain so I sat at home all morning with the busa in the garage calling "ride me, ride me" I so wanted to but also wanted to spend some time with the lovely Mrs. Relsek, and she doesn't like to ride in the rain.

So I sat around, played cards with my daughter, looked out the back door and the temps were in the high 70's, a light breeze and the busa in the garage calling, "ride me, ride me".

I couldn't take it any more, so I asked the lovely Mrs. if she would like to go for a ride. (I didn't bother to tell her about the forcast, whoops) We geared up and headed North.

Of course within minutes we had light sprinkles of rain on our face shields, but what are you going to do, turn around, you'll get wet either way?

So we continued north, the rain lasted a whole 2 minutes and didn't even get my legs wet.

I decided to stop in the first town we come to, Dade City and have an Ice cream with my wife. Low and behold, we arrive and there is a poser party going on.

Hundreds of bikes in town for some kind of get together and guess how many sport bikes?

If you include mine and the mrs', there were two, until we were leaving town at which time we saw a couple either just arriving or passing through.

Cool photo of busa and ninja in little town where ice cream is super expensive when something is going on.

It's pretty gloomy here too. I had a great time bass fishing earlier this afternoon until an old cigar made me quite ill and I had to motor back home. At least I caught a couple of nice 1 - 2 pounders in the intermittent rain first.

Since my accident last year, my body refuses to allow this nasty habit to continue.

And a close up for those of you that don't know what a busa looks like.

We rode some of our favorite stomping grounds out side of Dade City then stopped along the highway to rest our bums (that one's for you big DR) We also posed for a photo because of course, I'm camera happy.

Then one last stop on the way home at a gas station in Tarrytown. Then we headed home.

It was a perfect day for a ride.

That reminds me of something I brought back from Nicaragua. I have 5 left and the first couple of guys that wants to ride over here and share them with me is welcome to them. I just need to save one for my little brother. I can't say just what kind they are, but they are hard to come by in the states.

Why do you put your Helmet's on the ground next to your bikes?
Florida does have Ants and other Critter's you know!

I don't set them on the bikes, lest they be knocked off, and didn't feel much like carrying them. I guess I could use the helmet locks, kind of forgot about them. Oh well, next time maybe.
