If you can afford to buy new gear every time you change bikes, or repaint your bike to match your gear, go ahead. I can't afford it so my stuff is all mix/match.
Mine used to match until i went all black on the bike, I like the bright colors, i stand out more for people to see me at night cause they sure wont see the bike as well!!!
I have always worn red, white & blue leathers, helmet, etc. since the early
90's. I have always had a blue/white, - red, white & blue - or blue/silver bike. Now my track bike is red, white & blue & we finally all match.
I try to kinda match. Black bike goes with most anything. I'm trying to stay around the black and gun metal colors. The main point is to just wear the gear.
Not really, I am to busy looking at padding quality and placement on jacket's an if it will be big enough to go over body armor to even notice what color it is.
