Don't forget to check their work.

Even after a whole life of riding and racing I made a complete newb mistake when I picked up my new Busa at the dealer. Drove it off the lot and did about 147miles on it that day. It all seemed right, but it cornered like a pig, would want to stand up in any low speed corner, way too much bar pressure to keep it down when it did finally fall into a corner...next day checked my tires...21lbs down on the front and 14 down on the rear. They just pulled it off the showroom floor and handed it to me...Duooh!

It always amazes me what certain mechs will over look~!~

You would think a person licensed to work on this bike would at least replace all the stuff you don't normally see...plastic push pins, mounts under the fairing, etc~!~

And just think about it. You paid for that great service, can't wait for the first service. Just make sure the oil plugs in before you pull off

That was my point brother, sorry about your experience and glad you didn't have an off or peel a tire off the rim, etc.....

...it's amazing indeed, can't tell you how many fasteners were over torqued I found, when I traded out the brake lines and pads...monkeys.

...now you got me going, the seat bolts loosened at 55ftlbs!!!!yeah those seats are a ***** to keep on.???

I did the 600 mile service myself and was amazed at all the bolts that were torqued wrong. I don't know where Suzuki trains their mechanics but they need to rethink their plan or maybe they don't train their mechanics and should start. Either way it was bad. :banghead:

I wonder if they do it on purpose for liability reasons. Better to have them too tight so nothing could happen. When I went to open the oil filler cap I had to run a rag and channel locks on it to open it. Every faster would break loose with a "crack" you know that kinda crack that sez I'm waaaay tight.
