So my 8 year old made some friends at school that live a block away from our house. I ride over there to meet this parents.. my sons friend's dad is a rider so we hit it off and bike talk for 3 hours.. his wife comes out and askes him if he car run to the store for eggs.. I told him ill go with him.. I lock my fork's take my gear off.. then he pulls his bike out.. it has bags. so I gear up again.. we ride to the store and when we came back out my Busa was on its side :cussing:

I'm just standing there in shock.. he runs to my bike and yells hurry lets pick it up!!!!! ... after I picked it back up a old women said she saw someone back up into the spot behind my bike and bumped my exhaust and the biked rolled forward off the kick stand..

the store has no cameras in the lot so the police said theres nothing they can do..

WTF!!!!

'Oh yeah, I saw the whole thing happen, but I didn't bother getting a plate number, or trying to stop them from driving off.' :rulez: People...

Sorry man... I've had someone back into my bike from a parking spot twice. Once was a mangled fender / forks and I was just stuck with the bill (drive off), second time the person found me and apologized profusely but there was no damage done.

I'm mad for you!!!

man sory to hear that...
wonder if the driver even knew what they did?

Im sure of it because after it dropped they took off fast. so says the old women. she said she was walking in the store and hear it fall. and turned around to see the car take off.. And I havent pissed anyone off in my town.. there's only about 12,000 people in my town so its a small town.. prolly a accident.. and then freaked out because they know what they did and took off..

Sorry to hear.

Before you put the plastics back on, alarm with shock sensor, microwave perimeter sensor and a pager. If you can read a wiring diagram, will cost you $170 for peace of mind.

Oh man...that sucks...sorry it happened.

It's a hit and run case. So if the person gets caught, punishment should be pretty harsh. If the store didnt have camera, how about stores in front of that parking lot, or near around? They might got a glimpse of the car taking off. You better hurry to figure it out as most of the stores overwrite their recordings.

Bummer, sorry to hear this. I guess $500+ for that scorpio may be a good investment. Start parking in the corner of any parking lot...less chances for accident.

hopefully, small town and i am sure someone will talk and you will figure out who did it. i usually park the bike more toward the exit part of the parking space, did you? too many people that just can't drive for crap out there.

Jeez, some people...

I watched some huge SUV back in to the front end of a Mustang last summer and I sat there watching the woman attempt to leave as if she didn't do anything. I jotted her plates down, thinking she's going to leave the scene. The gal who owned the Mustang came out and I got out, pointed out the SUV across the parking lot that just hit her, we both noticed she was trying to pull out of the lot and leave. I called her out on it, told her I just saw what she did and that she's leaving the scene...she stopped and got out to talk to the gal whose car she just hit...

Wish like hell someone had done that for you...

man that sucks. i actually saw that happen to another bike, dang person didn't even see the bike and then tried to pull off....

It was 10:00 at night only like 3 cars in the lot when we got there.. parked right up front..
