The premapped PC may or may not be of benefit...You've got to remember the effect of living in a different area, altitude, etc...It would be best to at some point but it on the dyno and have a custom map for your location...And I wouldn't gut the can the packing is there for a reason...

Any reason besides making it quiet? Maybe I'm ignorant but as I understand the lengthy, but informative, exhaust post it will make a minimal loss in low end, but I can live with that. Please educate me......

Not sure what you mean buy your question but i think brock actually makes a map for you based on your location and specific mods, but if your getting a custom map dont worry about it.

Get a Power Commander
and a good map to go with
that Yoshimura exhaust . . .
