I hesitated putting this on the org, until I got word of specific injuries. Two broken ribs- and sore.
We went out 471 to Riomedina, and turned around to run that section of road again. It is smooth, open farm land(you can see way ahead on all the turns, no surprises) and fairly decent sharper turns. I was behind, and saw Dre pass the others, and lean into the turn- looked like a perfect execution, and later- noticed a good line. Rear tire just slipped out from under him, where he slid across the road and into a field about 50 yards. Talk about a sinking feeling.
He had a cat scan, and sustained two bkn ribs. The rest, I'll leave to Dre, as he will be home tomorrow.
I can only guess that he caught a few pebbles,another rider later told me that turn is notorious for loose stuff, as there is a road intersecting on the turn; or leaned too far.
