A lot of chains don't even use a master link.So......
Actually, even an "endless chain" has a master link, the last one closed...which would either be rivet or clip type (on the new "screw in rivet type).
The reason I asked this question is my concern over "is the mushroom I create on my rivet type masterlink big enough?"
Even measuring it - it just doesn't feel very significant with my fingernail! Doyle (Raydog)
