Doing great bro! Been modding my gixxer...

Got a set of pilot powers now, and I put them on myself! Mounted and balanced. Man you should look into this, save you loads of $$$.

I already mount my own tires. Bought the manual machine from Harbor Freight. I mounted a set of Pilot Powers on the 10 when the stock rubber gave up.

I use the axle and two jack stands and do a static balance using stick on weights with black duct tape over them. My rear on the 10 didn't require any weight. The front required very little and it rides smooth as glass...

The latest rumors are that the Busa won't change until 2007, so I'm thinking about swapping my '04 Busa for an '06 1K next year. Hey man hurry and get back to 100% and take care.

I haven't been home ( 'Bama ) yet this summer, but I'm still going to contact you when I roll that way. Your Diablo is still looking good. The latest rumors are that the Busa won't change until 2007, so I'm thinking about swapping my '04 Busa for an '06 1K next year. Hey man hurry and get back to 100% and take care.

I may be changin' bikes again soon myself... not sure yet. Sort of trying to talk myself out of it, but at the same time I think it would be a good move. Decisions, decisions...

As for gettin' back to 100%, I'm gettin' close. Was able to ride today for the first time since my SI joint mishap. First roll out in about two months... All I can say is... HELL YEAH!!!

Felt soooooo good to be back in the saddle. Been a long two months sittin' around waitin' on this thing to heal.

I'll be sure and let you know when we work out something on the ride.

No Hardley for me... Hell, no cruiser for me...

The only non-sport bike I'd even consider right now would be the new Suzuki "Boost King". Check it out HERE if you haven't heard about it or seen it yet. Surely you guys have though, since this is a zuk site.

I'm thinking about getting a ZX-6R/636. I've totally lost my need for top end speed these days. Since I don't blast the straights for fun anymore I've found that the 10R is serious overkill for the kind of riding I enjoy now. I find myself in third gear, just barely in the power band on most of the roads I like to ride, not even using half throttle. The more I ride, the more I enjoy the corners and the less I enjoy blastin' on the straights... I'm just thinkin' that a 600 would be much more suited to my riding style than a litre at this point. Should be just as much fun, if not more fun in the corners, and more than enough for gettin' down the straights between corners...

I'm also lookin' at trying to do some track riding (probably schools at first) and I don't think a litre is what I need to learn on. I just think a 600 is more than enough bike for me at this point. My riding style and preferences have changed soooo much since I got the busa way back when.

Don't be mistaken though, I still want another busa to play with. I do still want to make at least one 200 mph GPS or Lidar verified pass on a bike. The busa is without a doubt the best bike to do that on. It's still gonna have to be a second bike though. I just enjoy the smaller, lighter bikes too much to go back to a busa as my only bike at this point. If my promotion comes through this year (hopefully around July or so...) you can look for my to post up about my new (to me anyway) busa and the mods I'll try to do to get to 200 mph.

Here's part of my thinking on the 600 as well... Once I get another busa for my big toy, I will have even less "need" for a litre full of power in my twisty toy.

And to address your mid-life crisis comment... Actually, I am... The hip trouble had me doing some serious thinking before I found out what it was. As most of you know, my Mother died of bone cancer. So, everytime I have an unexplained pain like that, I get a little worried. Before I went to the Doc with the hip trouble I started thinking all the what if's... I know 35 is still relatvely young, but I ain't feeling very young lately... I figure I'm about halfway through life now. I'll be lucky to live to 70... Mom only made it to 48... So yeah, I've been goin' through some mid life stuff lately. Been thinkin' about doin' some things I've always wanted to do...
