Swingarm tag relocator. Left side or right? Personal preference or by law? I’ve seen them on both sides so I was curious.

Varies by state. In Illinois it must be visible, horizontal and lit.

Seems most mount it on the right at least the ones I've seen. As mr. Brown pointed out tho most states seem to consider them improper so legal wise it probably won't matter anyway.

Agree with Mr. B. Probably need to check it out for your state...
I live in Omaha, NE. Most anything flies here. Unless someone got shot. The police here are to lazy to get out of the car. Here you can probably have your tag in your back pocket and be OK... But it's not like that everywhere.

Iowa it has to be at least 12 inches off the ground. Few years ago I guess a cop had nothing better to do than pull me over and give me a written warning for it. I just don’t drive through that town anymore.
